Move More, Move Better
Restorative Exercise is a whole-body, whole-life approach to movement. With a focus on alignment, we’ll explore corrective exercises designed to bring your body back into balance in order to prevent injury, promote healing, and build functional movement patterns that will support you in and outside the studio.
More than just a fitness routine, RE teaches you how to be your own body expert – enabling you to trouble-shoot aches and pains, stretch more safely and effectively, and perform both daily activities and athletic adventures with more ease and confidence. This gentle approach to strength and mobility training is appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Strong and Steady: A Four-Week Exercise Course on Dynamic Aging
Get a personal tour of all the exercises in Katy Bowman’s best-selling book, Dynamic Aging: Simple Exercises for Whole-Body Mobility.
Building and maintaining healthy movement habits is essential as we grow older. Perhaps you want to be able to play with your grandchildren, or travel, or continue living independently (or all of the above!) well into your golden years. Whatever your goals, learning to move your body better will help get you there.
Class meets twice a week for four weeks and will walk you through simple mobility tests and movements to practice.
Class schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays 1:30pm-2:30pm, Oct. 3rd-26th
Location: Wild Hearts Wellness – 4230 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97213
Private Coaching
My style of coaching is about one part movement, two parts discussion. As opposed to a traditional personal training session where you’re lead through a series of challenging fitness exercises, our focus will be more on assessing your alignment, choosing a handful of select corrective exercises that address your top concerns, and finding ways to integrate better alignment and movement habits into your existing lifestyle.
If you’re looking to increase functional strength and mobility, and need some extra guidance and support, this may be a good fit for you.
I’m currently accepting limited clients online and in-person (in the Portland, OR area).
I offer a sliding scale price option with the coupon code “CHOOSE60”

- you’ve only got time and energy to focus on one or two exercises at the moment
- you just want to get nerdy about alignment, transitioning to minimal footwear, building a movement-rich lifestyle, etc!
